How To Clean A Nose Piercing. Nose piercings are very popular, especially among the younger generation. Taking good care of your new nose piercing can help it heal without experiencing pain, irritation or risk of developing infection. In addition to cleaning it well on a daily basis, it is also very important to take good care of your body by ensuring that you eat well-balanced healthy food, get enough sleep and avoiding touching the wound unless cleaning it.

Tips on How to Clean a Nose Piercing

In this article, we are going to give you tips on how to clean a nose piercing.

1. Clean your hands:

Before you start the cleaning process, it is very important to first wash your hands thoroughly. Use a suitable antibacterial soap to kill bacteria that have accumulated on your hands. Proper cleaning of hands is crucial because it helps prevent the risk of developing infection that may delay the healing process.

2. Apply Piercing Aftercare Spray:

H2Ocean’s Piercing Aftercare Spray is the only patented SEA SALT solution that is natural to your body and developed specifically for body piercings. It is the most effective natural SEA SALT solution to cleanse and assist in the healing of your new body piercings. This will remove any dried discharge. We suggest to use it 3 – 6 times per day and it will also help in increasing circulation which will speed up the healing process.

3. Dry the area after cleaning:

After cleaning of the affected area thoroughly, you need to pat the area dry using a clean tissue or paper towel. Don’t use towel to pat the area dry because the towel could be holding bacteria that can cause new infection. It can also snug on the ring or stud.

4. Remove crusting:

It is also very important to clean the underside of the nose piercing using a Q-tip to remove any crust that may have formed. Ignoring this is dangerous because it can tear the skin causing the piercing to become inflamed. Soak the Q-tip in H2Ocean’s Piercing Aftercare Spray then gently rub it around the back of the ring inside the nostril. The process should be done gently to prevent pushing the stud out of the nose.

After successful cleaning the wound, you need to observe proper hygiene to prevent bacteria from finding their way into the piercing. For instance, you need to avoid using makeup to cover the piercing because it can clog up causing infections. You should also leave the nose ring intact until the piercing has fully healed. Lastly, don’t sleep on a dirty pillow because they are potential source bacteria that can cause infection.

🌊 THIS IS HISTORY.

For the first time ever, June 22nd is being officially proclaimed National Ecosystems Awareness Day — and it starts right here in Florida. 🐢🦈

But this isn't just about Florida. This is a message for the entire world: balance is not optional. Balance is life.

When our oceans suffer, we suffer. When ecosystems collapse, so does everything that depends on them — including us. The thread connecting every species, every breath of clean air, every drop of clean water, is the balance of our natural world.

Art has always been the language of change. On June 6th, 2026, artist Jeks One unveils a powerful public mural that speaks for the ecosystems that cannot speak for themselves.
